THE HISTORY OF BISHOP EMMANUEL EL FOUNDATION
Rev Prof Emma Ononuju and his wife Rev DR MRS Alice Zuriel Ononuju are the president, founder and the pioneer of Bishop Emmanuel El Foundation. Bishop Emmanuel El Foundation is a nongovernmental organization N.G.O founded to help, care, feed, to clothe and to house the less privileged ones in the society. It is born from the heart of empathy, compassion, love, faith, righteousness and from the heart of obedience to the word of God. The establishment of Bishop Emmanuel El Foundation does not depend on how much is in their purse, neither how much is in their bank account but it depends on the true love of God, on faith and on the providence of God. It really depends on how rich is our God to sponsor the program.
The purpose of Bishop Emmanuel El Foundation is to feed, care, sponsor, help, keep, train and to clothe the orphans, motherless babies, abandoned children, fatherless children, the sick, the poor, the widows, the prisoners, the less privileged and others in one pain or the other. It is born from the love of God and not as a result of great possession and never as a result of abundant wealth of the couple.
The issue of Bishop Emmanuel El Foundation which shall take care of the less privileged in the society had been in the hearts and minds of the couple for over twelve years before the day of its practical manifestation as we see it today.
Rev Prof Ononuju and his wife Rev Dr (Mrs.) Alice zuriel Ononuju entered into the establishment of Bishop Emmanuel El Foundation with prayers, faith and faithfulness agreeing with God for all His providences.
Bishop Emmanuel El Foundation has different arms and departments to reach the unreached and to help the non helped. It is a nongovernmental organization and stands as the official arm of the couples ministry.
Bishop Emmanuel El Foundation has connection with and associates with the couples ministries and stands a part of El Theological College, compassionate women orphanage home, and Redemption campaigners mission. The headquarters of Bishop Emmanuel El Foundation is Aba, Abia State Nigeria. Bishop Emmanuel El Foundation, though not a church, but still emphasizes on righteousness, love, holiness, salvation from sin and the need to be good citizen of the country.

Bishop Emmanuel El Foundation derived its name from the divine name of our Lord and savior JESUS CHRIST which is EMMANUEL and confirmed, agreed and confirmed, agreed and corresponded with the name of the founder of this ministry which is also Emmanuel. Bishop Emmanuel El Foundation (N.G.O) is a non-governmental organization. It is registered in Nigeria by Corporate Affairs Commission Abuja and fully recognized and certificated by Abia State government Umuahia.
It is not an illegal organization and not a fictitious foundation, but very real practical and visible, meeting all it claims and have achieved all it claims to be doing.
RECOGNITION
It is a Bible based organization and founded on Christian faith, but its mercy works, love, helps, caring and other benevolent services are not limited to Christians. It is an inter-religious, inter-cultural, inter racial and international mercy organization established for all persons without any cultural, religious or racial biasness and no discrimination. It is for all, irrespective of color, religion or race.
Bishop Emmanuel El Foundation is a mercy organization registered in Nigeria under the corporate affairs commission and with approval of Abia State government Umuahia. It is organized by the federal and state governments as a mercy and benevolent organization. It is a mercy clinic built for all.
